Tank Tuff S & S Pan
More than just special stuff, this Tank Tuff S & S Pan is the most bitchin’ machine I’ve photographed in nearly three decades. It has that classic old school/new school look that's alive in choppers today. The bike draws not only your eyes but makes you want to go over and fondle the damn thing. The next step would be taking her for a blast down the highway.
Tank’s hometown design of the single down tube frame introduces the beginning of artistic juices that flow into the overall concept. The frame also includes a choice of 3 rear-end styles, with or without an oil bag. The frame has a 3 to 5 inch stretch, is jig welded and will motor you on down the highway with no hands on the handlebars.
So how does one go about designing a complete motorcycle around the frame? Examine the touch Tank put into the gas tank flowing down into the seat, which rolls into the contours of the rear fender. Drawing up the concept is one thing, to be able to hand make it, mold it, fondle it with sandpaper and sweat, land then lay down the paint speaks of multitalented craftsmanship.
Other touches by Tank are the handlebars, motor mounts, and choice of the kick-ass exhaust. It doesn’t stop there. On the opposite side, the Tank signature inner and outer primary and oil tank also produce lines that keep everything smooth throughout.
Maybe it sounds like I’m blowing too many accolades about Tank and this machine out my ass. Fact is, the comments are legit. I love this chopper and recognize the countless hours it took to hand make it. Just seems important to sing the praises, without bullshit, when an Academy Award-winning piece graces the pages of “BIKER”.
If this chopper is academy material, then Penthouse sent us their own “Hall of Famers,” Alison. At over 5’10” her legs and ass seemed to want to come out and play all day. In addition to being one hot babe, Alison has her act together. She’s attending nursing school, works a full time job, works out daily and she won our photo shoot award for keeping her nipples hard throughout the day. No, I’m not kidding.
Great shoot and big thanks to Gloria at PIT BULL LEATHER in Nashville, IN.
